Although there are some rather touristy shops here, Gatlinburg TN is a really cool and comfortable place to stay.
It is in a great location of Tennessee right outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
There are an absolute ton of things to do in Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas. And there are some of the most scenic and beautiful cabin rentals available anywhere in the country in Gatlinburg.

There are some wonderful, unique little shops in town, like The Village. We liked the village shops because they provide upscale merchandise, food and great coffee.
If you like arts and crafts the Artist's Community is just outside of Gatlinburg. The 8 mile loop around the community features shops, artist's studios, galleries, cafes and accommodations.
The Blue Ridge Mountains are one of the most popular destinations in the Southeastern United States and the Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through North Carolina and the views are spectacular. You don't want to miss it.
Of course there is always the Great Smoky Mountain National Park which is the most visited national park in the United States. The park encompasses more than 500,000 acres so you will probably never run out of activities to partake in here.
Cades Cove is one of the most popular attractions in the park and it is visited by more than 2 million people a year. You don't want to miss it!
